“What the f*** am I doing here?”
That was pretty much my predominant thought while gazing at India for the 1st time, through the window of a speeding bus. Bangalore or Bengaluru is the capital of India's southern Karnataka state. The center of India's high-tech industry… meaning, the city was exploding with constructions and although it was not even 6am, life was already picking up the pace of a city that already has more than 8.4 million habitants.
Although I’m not a fan of big cities and despite the overwhelming effervescence of Bangalore, I quickly felt better after arriving at Arvind’s place. Arvind was used to couchsurfers and was recommended by a good friend of mine. The next 3 days I spent in Bangalore were much easier as I was slowly getting in touch with my “inner-traveler” but also because the place reminded me a lot of Mauritius, which was a great way to smoothly start what would be a 2 months discovery of India.
